Creating a new Sitebot
To create a chatbot go into your account, select Sitebots from the navigation on the left of the screen and click on the NEW SITEBOT button at the top right of the page.

You will then be presented with a list of fields to add in your data.

Project name
Choose a name that clearly identifies your Sitebot and its purpose.
Example: "Crypto Guru" for a chatbot that provides information about cryptocurrencies.
Description
Write a concise and engaging description that highlights your Sitebot's main features and benefits.
If you plan to make your chatbot public or publish it in the Marketplace, this description will be visible to users.
Example: "Crypto Guru is your go-to chatbot for all things cryptocurrency. Get up-to-date market information, learn about the latest projects, and discover the intersection between web3 and AI."
Bot Instructions (System Message)
This is where you define your Sitebot role and personality.
Use clear and specific instructions to guide your chatbot's behavior and responses.
Example for a customer service bot: "You are a friendly and knowledgeable customer service bot, ready to assist users with any questions or issues related to the Playfix tool. Provide step-by-step guidance to help users create their own Sitebot."
Example for an information bot: "You are a crypto project expert with a deep understanding of the intersection between web3 and AI. Provide informative and engaging responses to users' questions, and offer insights on the latest trends and developments in the crypto space."
Welcome Message
Create a warm and inviting welcome message that greets users and briefly explains what your Sitebot can do.
Example: "Welcome to Crypto Guru! I'm here to help you navigate the exciting world of cryptocurrencies. Feel free to ask me anything about market trends, blockchain technology, or specific crypto projects. Let's get started!"
Starter Messages (Quick Buttons)
Add up to four frequently asked questions or popular topics as quick buttons.
These buttons appear at the top of the chat box and help users initiate conversations easily.
Example: "What is Bitcoin?" | "How do I buy cryptocurrency?" | "What's the current market trend?" | "Web3 and AI explained"
Website
Enter your website URL, including the full HTTPS:// prefix.
Example: "https://www.cryptoguru.com"
Twitter, Telegram, and YouTube
Provide your respective social media IDs or channel names without the @ symbol or full URL.
Example: "CryptoGuruOfficial" for Twitter, "CryptoGuruChannel" for Telegram, "CryptoGuruYT" for YouTube.
Project Ticker
If your project token or coin is listed on CoinGecko, add its ticker symbol (e.g., "BTC" for Bitcoin).
This allows users to ask your chatbot about your token and receive up-to-date information fetched from CoinGecko.
Brand Color
Specify your brand color in HEX format (e.g., "#1e88e5") to customize the chat bubble color and create a consistent visual identity.
Publisher's Twitter
Enter your personal or company Twitter ID, which will be displayed in the sidebar of public chatbots as the creator.
Public Checkbox
Toggle this option to make your chatbot accessible to the public or embed it on your website.
If unchecked, the chatbot will remain private and won't be visible on your site.
Once you have filled in all the necessary fields, click the "Create" button to generate your Sitebot. Remember, the more thought and detail you put into setting up your chatbot, the more engaging and effective it will be for your users.
